<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1469118">Diagnostic. </a></span>Click the <span class="UI-Element">Diagnostic Text </span>link to download a log of enclosure diagnostic information to your computer. If you contact LSI for support with your controller, they may ask you to use this feature. It may help identify the problem you encountered.</div>

<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1469123">Controller ID.</a></span> The ID of the controller connected to the enclosure.</div>
|
||
<div class="Heading2-drop-down"><a name="1468984">Fan Summary</a></div>
|
||
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1468986">Fan.</a></span> Lists the ID number associated with the fan.</div>
|
||
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1468987">Status.</a></span> Will be one of OK, Failure, Not Installed, Unknown, or Off. For status definitions, see <a href="Enclosure_Management.9.4.html#1447111">Fan Status</a>.</div>
|
||
<div class="Body" style="color: #000000; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; text-transform: none; vertical-align: baseline;"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1468988">State. </a></span><span class="NoteHeading">Will be </span><span class="UI-Element">ON</span><span class="NoteHeading"> </span><span class="NoteHeading">or </span><span class="UI-Element">OFF</span><span class="NoteHeading">.</span></div>

<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1468989">Speed.</a></span> Fan speed is automatically controlled by the enclosure monitoring software to maintain correct enclosure temperature. Possible settings are Stopped, Lowest, Second Lowest, Third Lowest, Intermediate, Third Highest, Second Highest, Highest, and Unknown.</div>

<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1468990">RPM.</a></span> The fan speed in revolutions per minute. </div>
|
||
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1468991">Identify.</a></span> If supported by the enclosure manufacturer, checking this box will cause an LED to blink on the enclosure containing the specified fan. If the box is grayed, identify is not supported.</div>
|
||
<div class="Heading2-drop-down"><a name="1468992">Temp Sensor Summary</a></div>
|
||
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1468994">Temp Sensor.</a></span> The ID number of the specified temperature sensor.</div>
|
||
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1471295">Status.</a></span> The status of the temperature sensor. Can be OK, Failure, Not Installed, Off, or Unknown. In addition, there are threshold warnings of Over Temp Failure, Over Temp Warning, Under Temp Warning, and Under Temp Failure. For status definitions, see <a href="Enclosure_Management.9.5.html#1442887">Temp Sensor Status</a>.</div>

<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1471296">Temperature.</a></span> The temperature of the enclosure in Centigrade and Fahrenheit.</div>

<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1468997">Identify.</a></span> If supported by the enclosure manufacturer, checking this box will cause an LED to blink on the enclosure containing the specific temperature sensor. If the box is grayed, identify is not supported.</div>

<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1469000">Power Supply</a></span>. The ID number associated with the specified power supply.</div>

<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1469001">Status</a></span>. Can be OK, Failure, Not Installed, Off, or Unknown. For status definitions, see <a href="Enclosure_Management.9.6.html#1468170">Power Supply Status</a>.</div>

<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1469002">State</a></span>. Indicates if the power supply is ON or OFF.</div>
|
||
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1469003">Voltage</a></span>.The status of the dc voltage output of the power supply. Can be Normal, Over Voltage, Under Voltage, or Unknown.</div>
|
||
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1469004">Current</a></span>. The status of the dc amperage output of the power supply. Can be Normal, Over Current, or Unknown.</div>
|
||
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1469005">Identify.</a></span> If supported by the enclosure manufacturer, checking this box will cause an LED to blink on the enclosure containing the specific power supply. If the box is grayed, identify is not supported.</div>

<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1240701">Slot Summary.</a></span> Lists the enclosure slots and indicates which ones contain drives, and the status of each drive. </div>

<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1469208">Slot.</a></span> The ID of the slot for a drive in the enclosure.</div>
|
||
<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1469217">Status.</a></span> The status of the drive in the slot. Can be <span class="UI-Element">Inserted</span>,<span class="UI-Element"> Ready To Insert</span>,<span class="UI-Element"> </span><span class="UI-Element">Ready To Remove</span>,<span class="UI-Element"> </span>or <span class="UI-Element">Activated</span>.</div>

<div class="Body"><span class="NoteHeading"><a name="1469226">VPort.</a></span> The VPort assigned to the drive in the slot. Clicking the link takes you to the Drive Information page. The drive you selected will be highlighted.</div>
