<div class="Body"><a name="1517245">Command logging provides the ability to log each command that makes a </a>change to the controller configuration in a log file (tw_mgmt.log). This can be useful for trouble-shooting. </div>

Command logging is also available for configuration changes made through the CLI. However, control of whether CLI command logging is enabled or disabled is handled separately. Changing the setting within 3DM2 does not affect command logging from CLI.</div>

For Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2008, <span class="code-char">tw_mgmt.log</span> is in <span class="code-char">\ProgramData\3ware</span> directory. (Note that ProgramData is a hidden folder by default.)</div>
