<div class="BodyAfterHead"><a name="1548188">Normally after installation, the 3DM2 process starts automatically when you </a>start your system.</div>
|
|
<div class="Body"><a name="1548191">As a best practice, keep the 3DM2 process running on the system that </a>contains your 3ware RAID controller. That way 3DM2 can send email alerts, and administrators can manage the controller remotely, if remote administration is enabled. </div>
|
|
<div class="Body"><a name="1095434">When 3DM2 is running in the background on your computer, you can access </a>the 3DM2 web application through your browser to check status information and manage your 3ware RAID controller. </div>

You will know if the process is not running, because when you try to use the 3DM2 web application, you will get a page not found error.</div>
